I returned to heaven after Adam and Eve got their punishment. They became mortal beings, plagued with illnesses and pains, tested by god for generations to come. It could have been worse though, they could have suffered great torments, but God was forgiving. I took the chance to investigate if there was any news on my old friend Kokabiel and my new one Crawley while I awaited my new assignment. I asked around the gossipers, they knew everything about every angel. One of them told me about the last rebellion and indeed Kokabiel was part of it, seemed he had followed his friend Archangel Lucifer, he was God's right hand, bringer of light she named him, the morning star. The seventh day had started peacefully, god had done her work and today was declared to be a resting day. Adam and Eve had just woken up, as I heard that vibrating sound again. It seemed to be come from under the wall I was standing on, I looked behind me to see if that big snake had moved but it had already vanished. I turned back to the noise and noticed the ground move slightly and then open up. A black snake slithered out of the ground, the color of it’s eyes stood in big contrast with it’s body. Beautiful golden eyes, the animal moved towards Eve. I stood ready in case it tried to harm her, but it didn’t it just moved next to her and he was off again. Disappeared into the flora of the garden. I let out a sigh, the concept of these animals were new to me but it was odd wasn’t it. In the beginning there was only silence, the new planet was a gray dull landscape which appeared to be endless. Above us was a dark emptiness, this was the first day on our all mightiest new brain child called Planet Earth. Nothing exciting had happened so far until I heard the very first trumpet sounded.
